is a nonfiction writer and poet. Her work has appeared in AGNI, Colorado Review, Alaska Quarterly Review, New York Times, TriQuarterly, Hotel Amerika, and Crazyhorse, on the PBS Newshour, and elsewhere. She is the author of Mapmaking (BkMk Press/New Letters, 2010), awarded the John Ciardi Prize for Poetry.
