a piano song the color of dark silver is loud in my body. on the tile, there is a piece of cracked moon. it is easy to die, so easy God forgets to remember. there is a bird crying for its mother in this song. o, God took my mother & forgot to take her love. who took a knife to my happiness? I look in the face of the river & I can’t find myself. tell me what it means to be the first son of insanity. I keep losing my patience. what have I not lost? the day my mother died, I was dreaming of rosebushes. ah. what is not yours will come home to you. I soaked my faith in water & it became too heavy for my hands. read this like a prayer. please tell the birds to stop turning into knives. I know sey you sef no wan die. bruise by beautiful bruise, I am coming home to myself. what is not divine? what is not divination? if you open me up, you will only find hooks. I laugh & it means something.
