Monster Mags of the Midwest Offsite Reading

We’ll be kicking off the conference on Wednesday night with our annual offsite contributor reading, cohosted with The Journal, Mid-American Review, and Ninth Letter. Our featured readers will include Su Cho, Siân Griffiths, Jameelah Lang, Rainie Oet, Ira Sukrungruang, and Jenny Tinghui Zhang.

We’ll be at booths 1533 and 1534 (will update if they consolidate space in the Bookfair!), sharing space with our book-publishing arm, Acre Books. On Saturday, March 7, from 1:45-3:00 p.m., Managing Editor Lisa Ampleman will speak alongside editors Dave Housley, Misty Matin, Ryan Ridge, and Sarah Anne Strickley . Come out to hear how literary magazines maintain consistency when grad and undergrad student editors turn over each year.
