Open for Contest Submissions!

It’s that time of year: our submission manager is now set up to accept submissions for our annual Robert and Adele Schiff Awards! This year for the first time we offer THREE awards: poetry, fiction, and literary nonfiction. Each award includes $1,000 and publication, and we’ll consider all entries for publication. Also, each entry fee of $20 includes a subscription to The Cincinnati Review.

To enter, see our guidelines for more information, including the judging process and timeline. Keep in mind the requirement to keep your name and identifying information out of the submission itself, and pay attention to the page limits (8 pages max for poetry, 40 for fiction, 20 for literary nonfiction).
