grew up in Massachusetts and now lives in Northern California. Her work, which includes fiction, literary nonfiction, and poetry, has appeared in The Baltimore Review, Blackbird, Pangyrus, Witness, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of a MacDowell Fellowship.
