an American poet and memoirist, is the author of Dreaming in Night Vision—a hybrid memoir—as well as two poetry chapbooks: Spikeseed (Bad Moon Books, 1996) and TheWishingBones (shortlisted for the Pudding House Press Chapbook Prize, 2007). She has been nominated twice for the Best of the Net anthology, several times for the Pushcart, and has often been shortlisted in competitions. Mhyana holds an MFA from the Bennington Writing Seminars, and her work is forthcoming from CutBank, Roanoke Review, Structo, Room Magazine, and others. She lives between England and Italy.
