Managing Editor Lisa Ampleman: I am unabashedly a space nut, so I’ve been a fan of Jason Gray’s poem “First Image of a Black Hole” since we had it in production for our spring issue. He’s made a short film of him reading the poem, using images from NASA and others (credits at the end of the video). We’re so glad to share it with you:

Jason Gray is the author of Radiation King (Lost Horse Press, 2019) and Photographing Eden (Ohio University Press, 2008). He hosts the podcast Drunk as a Poet on Payday.
