Accepting Entries to the Robert and Adele Schiff Awards!

Happy summer! We at The Cincinnati Review are accepting entries for the 2025 Robert and Adele Schiff Awards from now through July 15th. We’ll choose one poem, one story, and one piece of literary nonfiction for publication, which will happen in our May 2026 prize issue, and the three winners will each receive $1,000.

The entry fee of $25 includes a yearlong subscription*, and all entries will be considered for publication, not just the winners. For each entry, send up to 8 pages of poetry, 10,000 words of one double-spaced piece of fiction, or 5,000 words of one double-spaced piece of literary nonfiction. Please submit entries through our online submission manager, but not without reading our complete contest guidelines first.

*All international entrants will receive an electronic rather than print subscription.
