Sitcoms before dinner, during dinner,
and afterward too. Check for the winner
to this season’s singing teens, naive bunch
with the luxury to ignore see wuy. Munch

and start thinking outside the on-screen punch.

Tune the high-def TVs and let’s gather
for reruns of last year’s medical dramas,
watch them like Rome watching gladiators who won
nothing but bread. Who wouldn’t rather
watch the poorly scripted soap operas
than the nightmare of bailing out a son.
