is the author of five books of fiction, including the novels Travelers Rest (Little, Brown, 2016) and The DartLeague King (Tin House Books, 2008). His stories have appeared in A Public Space, New England Review, Southern Review, and elsewhere. He teaches at Clemson University, where he’s editor of South Carolina Review.
