‘s poetry collections are Seabook (Medúza, 2000), Sister Island (Blackberry Press, 1987), Handsome (Deconstructed Artichoke Press, 2011), and At Sea (Finishing Line Press, 2018). Recent creative nonfiction appears in Catamaran, and her translations with Czech poet Miroslav Holub have appeared in Harper’s, the Times Literary Supplement, Poetry, and the book Miroslav Holub: Poems Before and After (Bloodaxe, 2006). She lives in San Jose and commutes to San Francisco, where she teaches at California College of the Arts. Her newest collection is Buoyant.
