Rome Hernández Morgan is a Mexican American, born-and-raised Texan. Her poetry and nonfiction have appeared in Prairie Schooner, New Ohio Review, and Blackbird. She is currently a PhD student at the University of Cincinnati, where she is a Provost Fellow.
